Our 3/8" forged G70 clevis slip hook with safety latch is yellow DI-chromate zinc plated steel. These hooks are grade 70, with a 7,100 LB working load limit. Hooks with a clevis are easily attached to chain or fitting by removable clevis pin. This hook has a slip opening that has a wide throat opening allowing the chain to move freely through the hook. Uses for this hook include easily joining attachments to welded chain or wire rope. It is not rated for over head lifting. This clevis hook works great with G70 transport chain, and also with lower graded chain. The safety latch is stainless steel for extra strength and durability.
