This 1/2" male JIC x 1/2" male o-ring boss tube fitting is made of stainless steel 316, has a male JIC tube connection and a straight threaded male connection with an o-ring boss seal, and is suitable for use in high-pressure fuel delivery and fluid power applications. It is made of stainless steel 316 for higher strength and greater corrosion resistance than stainless steel 304 and has a maximum temperature range of -425°F to +1,200°F.

This adapter tube fitting connects two tubes of different end types. It has a male JIC tube connection on one end for connecting to a flared tube, and a straight threaded male connection with an o-ring boss seal on the other for connecting to a female straight threaded tube. The o-ring boss seal provides a leak-resistant seal when the nut is tightened over the tube. This JIC fitting is a type of flare fitting machined with a 37° flare seating surface. This adapter tube fitting is suitable for use in instrumentation, process, pneumatic, hydraulic, gas and other tubing applications.
