This stem fitting fits inside a hose and crimps to a ferrule to provide a seal around the end of a hose. The other end of the stem has a clamp end that provides a non-permanent seal with take down access. It is made of stainless steel 316 for high strength and greater corrosion resistance than stainless steel 304 and has a maximum operating pressure rating of 250 pounds per square inch (PSI) at 70°F. Recommended for food, dairy and pharmaceutical applications where increased flow capacity is important.
